Since the beginning of the millenium the Dancehall- and Reggaemusic-Entertainer, Don Raggamore, is working behind the tables and... he´s still hungry!

Obviously Don Raggamore needed the past 10 years just to acquire a taste for it. Nowadays the DJ is even more motivated and amibitious than he ever was. On the set Raggamore seems to be a 5 star gourmet chef who adds a special extra on the plate with every grasp into his record case. Dancehall and Reggae are the basis, topped with a little Roots and Digital and garnished with some Ska and Dub. To make it taste extra hot and spicy, the chef even adds some Hip Hop, Jungle, Funk and Dubstep. The whole mass gets heated up and kept in motion all the time. This is the way Raggamore serves his guests delicious Dancehall treats and what the crowd likes most, "Puuuull Uuuup!!!", gets on the plate again.

In his home town, Solingen (Germany), Don Raggamore is known as the "Godfather" which he proves to be a suitable nickname every time he is on stage. Every second month he hosts a unique party named "Reggae Reunion" in the club Getaway. The place where he also started his career as selector of Jaspora Sound alongside the MC Junior Bunton. "Beeing part of Jaspora Sound introduced me to Reggaemusic as well as to the scene around it. In this time I did my first steps and acquired a lot of needful experiences." In 2006 Junior Bunton and Don Raggamore decided to dissolve their joint-project to go their own ways. " ... this was a kind of self-discovery phase in my life. I did some gigs with different MCs and was part of a soundsystem for a while, but quickly I realized that I had to do my own thing." Of course the entire story leads to what Don Raggamore is well-known for today: A first-class Dancehall-Raggae-Full-Clip-One-Man-Show!

Seit der Jahrtausendwende steht der Dancehall- und Reggaemusik Entertainer, Don Raggamore, mittlerweile an den Tellern und... ist nach wie vor hungrig.

Offensichtlich ist Don Raggamore nach über 10 Jahren erst so richtig auf den Geschmack gekommen. Der DJ ist heute motivierter und ambitionierter als je zuvor und ähnelt bei seiner Arbeit einem Gourmet-Koch, der mit jedem Griff in die Plattenkiste ausgewählte Zutaten auf die Teller wirft. Dancehall und Reggae bieten die Grundlage, dazu eine Portion Roots und Digital, garniert mit Ska und Dub, und als besondere Würze: eine Prise HipHop, Jungle, Funk und Dubstep. Die ganze Masse wird gut erhitzt und ständig in Bewegung gehalten. So serviert Raggamore seinen Gästen stets erlesene Dancehall-Schmankerl und was allen gut schmeckt, "Puuuuull Uuup!!!", kommt nochmal auf den Teller.

In diesem Stil hostet der, in seiner Heimatstadt als "Godfather" bekannte, Entertainer im Zwei-Monats-Rhythmus die "Reggae Reunion" im Solinger Getaway. Dort wo er 2000 auch seine Karriere als Selector von Jaspora Sound, an der Seite von Junior Banton, begann. "Mit Jaspora machte ich meine ersten Schritte, lernte Reggae und die Szene kennen, konnte wertvolle Erfahrungen sammeln...", bis sich 2006 die Wege von Junior B und Raggamore trennten. "...darauf folgte eine Art Selbstfindungsphase. Ich machte Sessions mit verschiedenen MCs und schloss mich für kurze Zeit einem Soundsystem an, um herauszufinden, dass ich mein eigenes Ding machen muss." Die ganze Geschichte läuft natürlich auf den Don Raggamore hinaus, den wir heute kennen: Eine Dancehall-Reggae-Full-Clip-One-Man-Show erster Klasse.
